Calvisius Beluga caviar, sourced from the Huso Huso sturgeon, is a luxurious and top-quality delicacy. Produced in sustainable farms in Italy, it embodies both excellence and environmental responsibility. This majestic fish, which can reach lengths of up to 8 meters (26 ft) and weigh more than 1.5 tons (3,300 lbs), is historically native to the Caspian, Black, and Azov Seas, and was once found in Italy’s Adriatic and Ionian Seas.
The caviar’s large roe, exceeding 3 mm in diameter, is characterised by its oval shape and colour tones ranging from pearl to dark grey. Its flavor is delicate and complex, with subtle nutty and buttery notes, culminating in a clean, velvety finish. To fully appreciate its exceptional quality, it is best enjoyed on its own.
